"Tea Maiden" - a basic but very enjoyable Gyokuro, on which I recommend starting your journey among the best grades of gyokuro.
A gyokuro with a nicely developed umami and light sweetness, accompanied by a typically Kagoshima grassiness. A lingering aftertaste that develops gradually.
In our terms, this is a basic gyokuro - suitable for getting acquainted with this type of tea and gradually discovering the flavour nuances of it.
